Newcomer to Linux
trying to install Zygrib, tells me it is out of date
can't install later version.
running Ubuntu 12.10
advice welcome!

Reading the download page will give you all the explanations (https://www.zygrib.org/index.php?page=do ... ion_ubuntu).
The latest version of zyGrib is available for 12.10 since a couple of days (12.10 is available only since the 18.10.2012), which means that we try on our free time to do our best.

merci bien pour le reponse - et veuillez m'excuser les fauts grammatiques (ou bien, je taperais en Anglais!)
j'ai suivi le lien vous m'avez donnee mais je ne trouve pas comment faire.. peut etre je suis bete, mais..
donc, j'ai aussi suivi le lien parlant de "mettre a jour" - j'ai le meme pb (et j'ai tort, c'est Pangolin 12.04, pas .10 - veuillez excuser...) - j'ai installee Synaptic, et bien, meme pb - le "dernier version" est 3.9 2-1 - le meme que j'avais installee d'origine.
Je me suis trompee ou ????

got to this error message
