Mise à jour Precise

Bonjour,

Tout d'abord merci mille fois pour cette application et le support fourni.

Après installation de synaptic, j'essaye la mise à jour. Le message d'erreur est le suivant:

W: Échec de la récupération de http://doc.hausser.ch/debpackages/pool/ ... _amd64.deb
404 Not Found

Le lien serait-il erroné ou alors le fichier non disponible (serveur...)?

J'ai ajouté la version pour 12.10 (quantal) et je crois que la clé du fichier de 12.04 (precise) a été modifiée dans les fichiers de contrôle, raison pour laquelle cela propose une mise à jour, mais on en est toujours à la version 6.0.2_ubuntu1; donc si j'ai le courage, je fais le nettoyage avant une nouvelle version...

Le problème c'est que j'ai fait l'installation à partir des dépôts Ubuntu (=> version 3.9.2) et que pour passer à la version suivante, je dois passer par la mise à jour. Pas de problème, je prendrai mon mal en patience. Pour une fois qu'un soft est développé pour linux afin d'assurer la compmatibilité avec les uatres plates-formes...

I think my problem is the same, in the end.

I've tried to install Zygrib on Kubuntu 12.04 and I have these errors:

Si vous cliquez sur le lien vous devriez pouvoir installer le paquet. J'ai corrigé le fichier d'information, mais il est associé à une nouveau .deb (que je n'ai pas chargé dans le dépôt, il reste l'ancien).

I'd love to install zyGrib, but I have tried and failed a million times.

latest of a series of error messages below fron Synaptic

I tried using the Ubuntu Software centre and it tells me that it is an untrusted package.

tried to install from the www too.

Failed. Sad, disappointed, frustrated and miserable. Trying to learn, but learning requires some measure of success. I am reasonably experienced with Windows, but have no clue about Linux - and I just want it to work!

Please can you just tell me in layman's terms what to do? I have Synaptic, Ubuntu, 12.04 LTS

Simon,

I understand your frustration. I believe you need to point the software center to the key.

-1:open the terminal window
-2: enter the following command "wget http://doc.hausser.ch/debpackages/dha-debpackages.key -O - | sudo apt-key add -"
-3:hit enter and the system will request your sudo (administrator password). Type your password.

Then go into the software center to check if the keys were installed

-1:open the software center
-2:open tthe edition menu that is located in the upper left corner of the screen (not in the software center woindow itself!)
-3:select software source or something
-4: the software source windows opens, select the authentification or key tab (I am under a french version and therefore the names might change a bit) tab were all the keys are listed. check that Dominique hauser is in the list.

Done. Then retry the installation.

Hope it helps. There is a lot of help available for linux on the net (you can start at http://www.ubuntu.com).

Thanks for the comprehensive instructions which I followed; I got the key updated and checked it in "software sources" and then downloaded the file. There seemed to be some problem in the Ubuntu Software Centre, as it claimed there's something wrong with my connection (seems unlikely) but it gave me these details

Failed to fetch http://doc.hausser.ch/debpackages/pool/ ... _amd64.deb Hash Sum mismatch

so I tried the Synaptic package manager, which downloaded everything, right up to the end...
and then it said

W: Failed to fetch http://doc.hausser.ch/debpackages/pool/ ... _amd64.deb
Hash Sum mismatch

So I assume there's another problem!

What next?

Simon,

I got the same issue after loading the key and it was fixed by Dominic. You just ahve to click on the HTTP link appearing in blue in Dom message dated nov 3d 2012. It then should install automatically.

now, just hope that the calm weather expected for Thursday next will continue over next weekend - we hope to sail from Dover to Boulogne sur Mer on Friday and back on Saturday

Ce que disait Joinzar était un moyen d'installer zyGrib (sur Ubuntu 12.10 64 bits), malgré une erreur que j'avais faite lors d'une mise à jour du dépôt. Le problème étant résolu, l'installation via synaptic, apt-get ou aptitude fonctionne à nouveau.
