during the last months I used very successfuly the zyGrib version 3.9.2.
Today I tried to install the version 4.0.1 and also I installed qwt, lbz, lz, libproj with the synaptic tool from Ubuntu 11.04.
Everything went well during the installation process with "make" until the last line:
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible bzip2/libbz2.a whern searching for -lbz2
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lbz2
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible zlib-1.2.3/libz.a when searching for lz
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [zyGrib] Fehler 1
make[1]: Verlasse Verzeichnius '/opt/zyGrib-4.0.1/src'
make: *** [zyGrib] Fehler 2

I spend some time with synaptic on Ubuntu and after a while I loaded the file "zlib.bin" which was not already installed.
After that the "make" command works very well and compiled the zyGrib shell.
