1.- As well as "Mark point of interest" is very useful, it could draw "lines" to build "Areas of interest". For instance, if i have one or more responsability forecasting areas or fields, it´s easiest show it if i can to define areas, especially offshore.

2- Sometimes, forecasting doesn´t includes just a point. To cover a forecast zone, It could be useful to have an average of wind direction or intensity (for instance) for a zone.
