Precipitation?

Post by t_tanilsoo » 28 Jul 2009 14:58

Hello.

I am having questions over the display of precipitation forecast. Are the values really in mm/h? I thought the precipitation data was given as mm/3h, mm/6h etc, depending on the time step on model?

Which interpretation is right, mm/1h or mm/Xh, where X is time step in model output(like 3 or 6 hours)?

Hi,
this is an interesting question but it looks like if nobody has got the answer...
If you find it let me know.
Thanks.
